Amazing Vacation!
Came down for a quick weekend trip. The air conditioner wasn’t working and we text Noel right away… he had someone come out that day to work on it.
We always have such a great relaxing vacation. We never worry about anything because of the great service and response we get.

Lazy Bear Cabin
We abousoutly loved our stay at Lazy Bear! The owners went above and beyond seeing the cabin had everything we need. We seen momma bear and her cubs every day. This was such a great experience. We meet family here and had a great memories that will last a lifetime.
Providence cabin
My family of five enjoyed our stay in the Smoky mountains and would recommend renting this cabin to anyone. The view, cabin, cleanliness were top notch. Also, the host was professional and accommodating to our needs whenever we needed him. Thank you Noel!
Just amazing.
Echoing others – oddly the most impressive aspect is the host, Noel. And that’s a high-bar as the location and cabin are just perfect. The drive to get to the cabin was always a blast as you travel down roads that… well, you’ve never driven on roads like these before.
In the more than a few times I reached out to Noel with any questions… his responses were virtually real-time… and what was best and really came through is how welcoming he was with each reply. Never got any hint that my questions were a bother; in fact, quite the opposite… felt like Noel was just waiting there for another question he could help us with. And each reply he seemed to add some additional information that was relevant to the question that I never expected. If you are looking for a place to stay in the area; book this place.
PS: This is either a ‘pro’ or ‘con’ pending on the perspective. For us… it was a BIG ‘pro’ – on our first drive in… we saw a black bear in the woods somewhat near the cabin. Amazing to see; but after we certainly all had our heads on a swivel exiting the place just in case 🙂 [We’re city folk from MI… don’t see too many bears where we’re from]
Awesome host and cabin
Noel is an amazing host! We stayed at the Providence cabin and loved it. This has been by far the best cabin we’ve stayed in for our yearly bike trip. If the timing and availability line up for next year we are hoping and will be booking with Smoky Mountain Life again! You will not be disappointed! Thanks for everything, Noel!
